The 21st annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival drew big crowds to Hocking College's Lake Snowden park near Albany over the weekend, with Saturday especially featuring heavy attendance.

The annual celebration of North America's largest native tree fruit included all the usual attractions, from an elaborate kids area to a lineup of local, regional and state musical acts to dozens of craft, cultural and informational booths to educational seminars and workshops. And more, including Professor Bubblemaker and his daily soap-bubble show that packed in tons of kids and their parents.

The beer tent, staffed by an army of volunteers, attracted steady business throughout the weekend, with the two lengthy lines on Saturday lasting as long as 20 minutes. Fortunately, that didn't seem to dampen the thirst of fest-goers choosing from a variety of pawpaw-infused brews.
