To the editor,

I have heard that we have been promised a vaccine by Nov. 3. This nation is hurting and sorely needs a remedy. We need a vaccine from the violence and hatred now filling our cities. We need a vaccine from the poverty so many of our hard-working citizens have been thrust into due to the Great Pandemic. We need a vaccine from the mean-girl insults our current president throws on a daily basis at those whom he fancies as his enemies. We need a vaccine that keeps Russia out of U.S. affairs.

We need a vaccine from the inept creatures of the New Trump Swamp, who have led us into an economic and public health disaster. We need a vaccine from those who profess their faith, yet lock up migrant children while they golf and tweet their Sundays away. We need a vaccine from the greed and grift that has permeated the executive branch. We need a vaccine that will result in the antibody known as “truth” returning as a routine governmental practice.

Please vote. Give it a shot.
