For more than four years, grocery shoppers have helped to support the build activities of Athens Women Raise the Roof every time they use their Kroger Gift Card to purchase groceries. The 5 percent of people’s Kroger bill has been a terrific, passive fund-raising tool for WRTR.
As of May 1, Kroger replaced the Kroger Cares program with one that uses your Kroger Plus card instead of a specially designated Kroger gift card. To maximize the returns on your shopping, you will need to register your account. Register your account to show your support for Athens Women Raise the roof. Signing up is easy, and can be done online at www.kroger.com. You will need: 1. Your Kroger Plus card; 2. A valid e-mail address; 3. WRTR NPO Code 81140. 4. Click on Sign In/Register; 5. Click on SIGN UP TODAY in the “New Customer?” box; 6. Enter zip code, click on favorite store, enter your e-mail address and create a password, agree to the terms and conditions. 7. You will then get a message to check your e-mail inbox and click on the link within the body of the e-mail. 8. Click on My Account and use your e-mail address and password to proceed to the next step. 9. Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number. 10. Update or confirm your information. 11. Enter NPO number 81140, select WRTR from list and click on Confirm. 12. To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page. If you use your phone number at the checkout counter or would prefer to receive a letter with a scanbar to register, contact Anita James at 593-4840.
