Letter: Voter-registration pests need to back off; they’re bothering us
October 9, 2008
To the Editor:
Please stop asking me to register to vote. Please stop asking me to sign up for something. Please stop handing me fliers. I want to walk uptown to get something to eat just once without being bothered. I think I’m going to make “don’t bother me” stickers, set up a table, and sit and wait for people to walk by. I won’t ask anyone to wear them — I won’t even speak unless spoken to. I’ll just sit and wait until someone approaches me and asks, “Hey, can I get one of those stickers?”
