Poetry event today raises funds for My Sister's Place

Event at Stuart's draws poets from Ohio and West Virginia

This year's "Women on the Line" event will feature poets from Ohio and West Virginia in a reading on Friday, March 27 at Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville. They will share work to draw attention to My Sister's Place, the Athens domestic violence shelter.

Barn exhibit has everything

The Dairy Barn Arts Center is hosting the first exhibition of its kind, "In & Around the Barn," an inaugural exhibition. This exhibit kicks off with a range of participatory artworks and performances for old and young this Friday, March 27 from 5-7 p.m., according to a news release.
