The Ohio Bobcats made it a
point to have a loud home opener against the North Texas Mean Green. The only
thing that was quiet after the 'Cats 27-21 victory at Peden Stadium Saturday
night was the idea that their season was in trouble following a Week 1 loss.

Ohio head coach Frank Solich has been through many highs and lows during his career. His team's loss in its 2013 season opener, a 49-7 whacking at the hands of the No. 9 Louisville Cardinals Sunday, stuck out for him as a particularly rough experience.

Greg Windham, 19, and Larenzo Donnell Fisher, 21, both have pleaded to charges of aggravated drug trafficking.
At the end of spring camp, a clock in the locker room
began counting down the days, hours and seconds until the Ohio Bobcats were to
open the season against the Louisville Cardinals. A contest that seemed light years
away at the time will begin in just a few days.
Football season is here again, a time for Friday night
head-banging at high school stadiums. Some players will start the
evening hearing the cheers of the crowd but finish with getting their
