John D. Bridge

John D. Bridge, 81, of Athens, died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at his home. Born November 30, 1929 in New Marshfield, he was the son of the late Floyd L. and Gertrude Brewer Bridge.

He was a 1947 graduate of Waterloo High School and joined the US Navy in 1948 serving as a medic on the USS Consolation. He retired in 1990 from Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company/American Electric Power after 38 years of service.
