Grace Eileen Cunningham Boggs passed peacefully into Heaven’s Gates on December 31, 2010 in Athens County at the Hickory Creek Nursing Center, at the age of 76, as a result of Alzheimer’s disease and mini strokes. She was a resident of The Lower Plains since 1955, where she took up housekeeping, raised her family and ran her business until her retirement.

Randy Dewaine Bolin

Randy Dewaine Bolin, 52, Albany, passed away at his residence Thursday December 30, 2010, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Born August 8, 1958, in Athens, he was the son of Sharon Michael Bolin of Athens, and the late Robert D. Bolin Sr.  He was retired from the Southeast Psychiatric Hospital, an avid sports fan, having played basketball and softball and loved playing music with family.
