Your readers don’t have to just listen to the editor to learn stuff

To the Editor:

You have experienced criticism for your stand on many issues in the past. Some of the criticism was correct, some was wrong, and some was unfair to you.

Your "Wearing Thin" column has gotten a lot of attention. Fracking is a hot issue; it gets deep into the mud of politics. See articles by Jim Phillips, Dave DeWitt, The Athens Messenger, The Post and others. The Ohio Conservancy District is also involved.

I urge your readers to use the Internet to get an understanding of the issues.
