Mike O’Brien would make one dandy county commissioner, and here’s why

Here is what I know about Mike O'Brien, who is running for Athens County Commissioner.

I have seen Mike working for many other Dem candidates both in local and national elections. He is a relentless and devoted volunteer for other Dem candidates. This says so much to me. He is someone who walks the talk. Someone willing to put in time for others who are qualified and have stepped up to the plate to serve

Mike knows what goes on behind the scenes in campaigns and in politics both locally and nationally. He knows a great deal about what goes on in Athens County and has done his best to make things better through action. He has paid his dues through his many hundreds of hours of walking the talk. Big time.

He has built a resume of involvement for others and our community that is widely admired and appreciated. All of this makes him a highly qualified candidate based on his intellect and his experience. He will be devoted to the job and serving the residents of Athens County.

If that is not enough, Mike is a veteran. Who knows better about serving and sacrificing for their community, their country as seriously as our veterans?
