Richard L. White
Richard L. White, 80, Athens, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 16, 1931, in Wymer, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Jason White and Eva Haddix Pennington. He was a Marine Corp Veteran, retired self employed building contractor; and a member of Airline Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Helen Milton White, children – Vicki Grigsby of McArthur, Becky (Brad) Murphy of Broadview Hts., Richard Jr. (Chris) White of Norwich, and Ron (Chris) White of Albany; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; siblings – Arnold White of Columbus, Jean (Cliff) Weese of Akron, Trudy Fisher of Canton, and Lou Minke of Marietta; sisters in law Harriett Joyce, and Kathryn Miller.
In addtion to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings – Geraldine Chewnings, Louise Louk, Randy White, Lawrence White, June White and Clifford White.
Services will be Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Willard Love officiating. Visitation will be Monday 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.
