Join the effort to get Chris Chmiel elected to Athens Co. Commission
To the Editor:
In the upcoming election for Athens County Commissioner, please join me in voting for Democratic candidate Chris Chmiel. Chris is in this race to fight for principles he already lives: he's been a supportive member of the community for decades. He owns and operates a successful small business. He's been at the forefront of our local movement to foster economically and environmentally responsible ways of living and working. As county commissioner, Chris will serve the people of Athens County with intelligence and integrity. Chris also has the ability to uplift and inspire. He founded our local Pawpaw Festival, now heading into its 14th year, which brings together thousands of people to celebrate our region and heritage. And I've witnessed Chris in action on the small scale when he spoke to my class of seniors at Ohio University and wowed them with his vision for living a life guided by the values of family, community and personal responsibility.%u2028Hard-working and right-hearted, Chris is the sort of person we need in office.
