Eric B. Bobo
Eric B. Bobo, 50, of Athens died Thursday morning, February 2, 2012 at his home. Born July 20, 1961 in Athens he is the son of Boyd and Carolyn Withers Bobo of Athens.
A 1979 graduate of Alexander High School, where he lettered in football, he was a former employee of the McBee's Corp. He was active with the Alexander Youth Sports Teams and Athletic Boosters. He was a partner in the Minuteman Press on W. Washington St. in Athens. He was a member of the Hocking Valley Sportsman Club, Athens Chamber of Commerce, Elks Lodge 973 BPOE and Kiwanis Club of Athens.
Besides his parents, Eric is survived by his wife, Angela "Angie" Kennedy Bobo; his son Sean Mikel Bobo; his sister, Laura J. Bobo of Athens; father in law and mother in law- Frank and Shirley Kennedy of Guysville; brother in law, Van Kennedy of Athens; several aunts and uncles- James (Cathryn) Brandau of North Canton, Elmer Bobo of Abington, Va., Charles Gaston of Athens, Ralph Pierce of Monroe, Ind., Fauna Neal of Nelsonville, Peggy (Jerry) Jagers of Athens, Linda (Jude) Hedrick of Heath, Russ Flint of New Albany, Ind.; and several cousins.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Rev. Monte McCune officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alexander High School Athletic Dept., 6091 Ayers Rd., Albany, Ohio 45710.
