Betty D. McComas
Betty D. McComas, 82, Athens, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Hickory Creek of Athens. Born June 19, 1929, in Greenup, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Brack and Ella Brown Hacker. She was a homemaker and a retired nurses aid.
She is survived by her children Jeanie (Fred) Kirkendall, Melody Tolbert, Christy (Ed) Barney, Mike McComas and Ronette Richard; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers Robert and Gerald Hacker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Hacker.
Services will be at held at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Edward Barney officiating, and entombment at Athens Memory Gardens.
