Emelene Mullins
Emelene Mullins, 85, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. Born May 18, 1926, in Spencer, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Harley and Ruth Kendall Knapp. She was a homemaker and retired clerk for Swearingen Sporting Goods.
She is survived by a son Michael P. (Sue) Mullins, daughters Teresa (Rex) Grimes, Pat (Jim) Alvis, and Tina Bolin; grandchildren Michell Kottyan, Terrence (Angie) Grimes, Jennifer (Denver) Huges, Jimmy (Tiff) Alvis, Stacey Parker, Dustin Bolin, and Tammy Metcalf; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister Wanda Bogges.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Mullins in 1967; a daughter Debbie Bailey; grandchildren Randy Bolin Jr., Johnny Mullins, Darrin Metcalf and Seasons Mae Metcalf; and a sister Wilma Russell.
Services will be Saturday at 11 A.M. at Bigony-Jordan funeral home. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
