Alexander Christiansen
Alexander Christiansen, too precious for Earth, made a brief appearance
in our physical world on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Odense University
Hospital in Odense, Denmark. Alexander is the beloved son of Torben and
Katie Christiansen.
His life was anticipated by grandparents Simon and Hanne Christiansen (Nyborg, Denmark), Don and Julia Pickenpaugh (Bellaire), his aunts and uncles Henrik and Charlotte Stensborg and their children Helena, Maria, and Magnus (Nyborg); Bo Christiansen (Odense); Jason and Jessica Pickenpaugh (Bellaire); Ashley and Jeff Rankin and their sons Kyle and Devin (St. Clairsville), and great-grandmothers Else Jensen (Nyborg) and Ruth Pickenpaugh (St. Clairsville).
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Laurits and Ena Christiansen (Nyborg), Johannes Jensen (Nyborg), William and Margaret Allen (Bridgeport), and Keith Pickenpaugh (St. Clairsville).
A private memorial service will be held in Odense on June 16 at 11.00 a.m., and a graveside burial at a later date.
Katie and Torben would like to thank the staff at OUH, friends, and family for their compassion and support.
Sometimes it's the smallest things that take up the most room in our hearts.
