"I see global heating as the inescapable but forgotten crisis of our time. I grew up under the nuclear threat, which aside from peace marching, had no behavioral change to help overcome it. It boggles my mind that coal mining is defended, recycling isn't universal, styrofoam and incandescent lightbulbs are still everywhere available. In Germany, if it can't be recycled, it can't be manufactured. We are so proud of our country, the greatest on earth, spouted by ignoramuses who have never been anywhere else. We should be leaders in the crisis, and we're just very slowly picking up the ball and time is essentially up."
