Thanks to all those who gave love and support after Art’s death
I am deeply grateful for all the love and support I have received from people in the Athens community since Art's death.
The First United Methodist Church offered the use of their facilities for the memorial service and reception. So many of you have sent loving messages, and have helped with the memorial service, family meals and other supportive tasks. Others have come to the Monday peace vigil or have decided to take steps toward peacemaking or sustainable lifestyles in honor of Art.
Those who would like to make a contribution to the "Art Gish Peacemaking Fund" can do so in care of New Covenant Fellowship, 13206 Dutch Creek Road, Athens, OH 45701. This fund will be used to encourage and support young people, or adults new to peacemaking activities, to take first steps in work to foster justice and peace.
