Alan Barkie
Alan Barkie, 60, Albany, passed away Thursday June 17, 2010, at his residence.
He was born in Columbus on December 22, 1949, the son of the late Anthony and Leona Rogaski Barkie. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Pat Wigal Barkie, children Barbara (Randy) Dodridge of Canal Winchester, Ronald P.(Betty) Barkie of Athens, and Judith (George Jr.) Cooper of New Marshfield; grandchildren Crystal and James Dodridge, John Cooper; sisters Sharon Barkie of The Plains, and Donna Thiel of Canada; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 PM at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Randy Dodridge officiating. Burial will be in Hill Top Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home for expenses.
