Alice C. Robertson

Alice C. Robertson, 89, of Guysville, went to be with the Lord, Monday morning, June 14, 2010 at her home. Born March 12, 1921 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late David Charles and Pearl Rockey Hassink.

A graduate of Shaw High School (East Cleveland), she attended Kent State University. She was employed as an administrative assistant at Hocking Valley Bank and was a member of New Life Assembly of God. She and her husband moved to Guysville in 1979. Alice loved and enjoyed her family and grandchildren.

Alice is survived by her husband of 65 years, Everett Stanley Robertson; two daughters- Joyce (Wayne) Robertson Pae of Guysville and Deborah (Stephen) Robertson Sigetic of Cleveland; a son, David W. Robertson of Guysville; four grandchildren- Forest (Jennifer) Pae and Brook Pae both of Guysville, Sasha Sigetic of Athens and Erik Sigetic of Cleveland; five great grandchildren- Morgan, Colton, Hunter, and Haylee Pae and Mirna Rose Martin-Sigetic.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Hassink.

Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00AM in Bishop-Flanders Cemetery, Lodi Township, with Rev. Phil Foster officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.
