Don't assume that swine flu vaccines don't carry many risks

To the Editor:

I am writing to let your readers know about the coming swine flu vaccines and their risks, after receiving letters from West Elementary and Athens Middle School about their plans to perform vaccinations in our schools.  

First, the issue of toxins in these vaccines must be addressed; there are a number of them included in various combinations depending on the vaccines. Obtaining the insert from the vaccines will tell you what you or your child will be receiving. This could include mercury in the form of the preservative Thimerosal, which has been linked to many illnesses including ADD, ADHD and autism, as well as a lowered IQ. Mercury levels in vaccines far exceed FDA guidelines, and in the case of multi-shot vials, the potential for much higher doses of mercury is possible. Thimerosal is banned in Russia, Denmark, Great Britain, Japan, Austria and all Scandinavian countries.

Another ingredient of concern is the adjuvant squalene. Adjuvants are used to make vaccines more effective while using less virus in the shot. Thus, the manufacturers can make more vaccine (and money) with less culturing. Unfortunately, squalene has been shown to have extremely detrimental effects when injected into human tissue. It is the primary culprit in Gulf War Syndrome. It was included in the anthrax vaccines that our servicemen and women were forced to take. It is linked to ALS, fibromyalgia, skin lesions, hair loss, psychotic disorders and other unpleasant maladies.

Flu vaccines can contain a number of other toxins including ethylene glycol, formaldehyde and phenol.

The second issue is one of practicality. The current cases of flu in the U.S. are almost all swine flu. Regular flu season hasn't gotten underway. So most people with flu are developing a natural immunity to swine flu now. Certainly, one wouldn't choose to be vaccinated for something they are already naturally immune to. Don't forget how strong your ancestors were to get us this far down the line; their strength depended greatly on natural bio defense.

Third, one must pause to consider the safety of these vaccines, and those promising that safety. As in 1976, both the federal Centers for Disease Control and Health and Human Services have joined with the pharmaceutical industry to declare the safety of these vaccines. Behind the scenes, Congress just passed a law releasing big pharma from legal responsibility if the vaccines do any damage. Why?
