Ella Marie Hutchinson, 99, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. She was born August 1, 1908 near Chauncey the daughter of the late James Joseph and Mary Alice Koon McKee. She was the widow of the late Charles M. Hutchinson who passed away February 6, 2002.
She was a 1926 graduate of Buchtel High School, She taught grades 5-8 at Happy Hollow Grade School and was a librarian at the Nelsonville Public Library. She was a lifelong member of Happy Hollow Community Church.
She is survived by one son, Keith (Susie) Hutchinson, two grandchildren, Heidi (Chris) Caster Hutchinson of Seattle, Washington, and Heath (Megan) Hutchinson of Nelsonville and a lifelong friend, Mary Frances Turn of Nelsonville.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by an infant son and 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville with Pastor Woody Frasure officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday, April 18, 2008 at the funeral home.
