MyClassifieds requires Java to be installed on your computer. If MyClassifieds does not work then you may want
to try to install or upgrade your Java. You still can place an ad online but you will not be able to use the
special features like centering, bolding, italics or adjusting the font size of your ad.
Visit http://www.java.com/getjava to install Java on your computer.
If you are having problems logging in, and you could before, try clearing your cookies in your web browser.
We recently updated the My Classifieds software which could effect pre exising accounts. Any cookies from
athensnews.com can be safely deleted. Sorry for the inconvience.
Internet Explorer: delete cookies.
Firefox: delete cookies.Be sure you have cookies enabled on your browser. If you do not have cookies enabled you will encounter problems
logging into MyClassifieds.

If you are a Mac user and you get an editize error when creating an ad be sure to update your Java. Mac has released a few
updates in regards to their Java packages. Go to your mac menu (upper left) and choose "Software Updates". Select the Java
update. Once the update is complete you can place your ad online.
