Live Broadcast: “Talk of the Nation,” an NPR program hosted by Neal Conan, will broadcast live from the WOUB Radio studios in Athens from 2-4 p.m. A studio audience will accompany the live program. Seating is limited and is by invitation only.

Wine-Tasting and Auction: 12th annual March of Dimes event. 6-9 p.m. at the Ohio University Inn and Conference Center. Tasting starts at 6, silent auction from 6-8:30, and live auction at 7:30. Tickets can be bought at the OU Inn front desk.

Farm Bureau Meeting: Athens County Farm Bureau annual meeting. 2 p.m. Ohio Department of Natural Resources. RSVP at 1-800-777-9226.

Camp Meeting: Living Water Worship Center, just west of the OU Airport near Albany, is having a Restoration Camp Meeting 2008 from Sunday through Wednesday, Oct. 15. Sunday morning’s 10 a.m. service will kick off the four-day event, with the first annual Biker Sunday, and a message from Pastor Jim Stewart. Bikers should register at 9:45 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
