• “OH + 5.” Sixth biennial juried art exhibition. Features artists from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The Dairy Barn. Through April 13.  

• Undergraduate Student Juried Exhibition. Art Gallery, Seigfred Hall, OU. Through March 20.

• Adam Mitchell, Mike Elsass and Pat Elsass, painters. Casa Cantina. Through March.

• Exhibit featuring the photography of Frank Norton, which runs through March. The exhibit offers a glimpse into the people, life and environment of the city of Sao Paolo, Brazil and the coast of Sao Paolo State.

• Historical exhibit — “Ancestors of Athens County: Treasures from First Families” — explores pioneer-era objects in the Athens County Historical Society and Museum’s collection. Opening reception today (Thursday) at the museum from 5-7 p.m. Exhibit runs through Aug. 1

Childhood Immunizations: Every Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the ground floor of Parks Hall, OU. OU-COM Community Service Programs’ Childhood Immunization Program. Free to all area children from birth through 18. Bring your child’s previous shot records.

Good Friday: Good Friday service at Bethel Worship Center in Tuppers Plains. 7 p.m. The service will feature special music and an original multimedia dramatic reading based on Satan’s viewpoint in the Biblical account of Jesus’ crucifixion.

Saturday

Resurrection Celebration service to follow at 10 a.m. “Stik’n With Jesus” interpretive dance performed by the children of Bethel Worship Center.

Easter Egg Hunt: “The biggest Easter egg hunt in Athens County.” Rain or shine. 1 p.m. at the West State Street ball fields, Athens. Open to kids 8 year and younger.

Monday
